Can you diagnose my child with autism?
Is my child autistic?
As a speech-language pathologist in private practice, I cannot independently provide a medical diagnosis of autism. A formal diagnosis typically requires a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, or multidisciplinary diagnostic team.
However, I have extensive experience supporting autistic children and their families. For over 10 years, I provided in-home developmental evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team that included occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists. This experience allows me to recognize early signs of autism and guide families through next steps when concerns arise.
I am committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice and continue to learn from autistic voices and pursue ongoing coursework in affirming, strengths-based care. My role is to support your child’s communication, connection, and development — whether or not a diagnosis is present.

After an initial consultation, services can often begin promptly, depending on current availability and scheduling needs.
Early support matters, and timely guidance allows families to move forward with clarity and confidence during a period of rapid development.

Pricing
Together Bloom is a private-pay practice. This allows for highly individualized care, flexible session planning, and treatment decisions guided by clinical expertise rather than insurance limitations.

Payment is processed immediately following each session via a secure card on file.
What to Expect
From our first conversation, you can expect a collaborative and supportive process. We begin by discussing your concerns, your child’s strengths, and your goals for support. Services are individualized and relationship-based, with strategies embedded into real-life routines and daily experiences.
Caregiver involvement is encouraged and valued. You know your child best — my role is to partner with you, offering developmentally informed insight and practical guidance to support meaningful progress.
What Do I Need On Hand for the Virtual Screening?
There are several common household items that may be helpful during a virtual screening, depending on the areas of development being explored. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email outlining specific items to have available so that the session runs smoothly and efficiently.
Do You Have a Waitlist?
Together Bloom intentionally maintains a limited caseload to provide highly individualized, relationship-based care. Because of this model, extended waitlists are not typical.
Availability varies throughout the year. Families are encouraged to inquire directly to discuss current openings and next steps.
Do I Need a Diagnosis to Begin Services?
No diagnosis is required to begin working together. Many families seek support because they have questions or want proactive guidance. Services are individualized based on your child’s unique developmental profile and your family’s goals.
Superbills Available
Superbills are available upon request for families who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance provider.
Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan. Families are encouraged to contact their insurance carrier directly to inquire about out-of-network speech-language therapy benefits.
What Types of Payment Do You Accept? Can I Use an HSA/FSA Card?
All payments are processed securely via credit or debit card through our payment system.
Many HSA and FSA cards can be used for speech-language therapy services; however, eligibility depends on your specific plan. Families are encouraged to confirm coverage and eligibility directly with their HSA or FSA administrator prior to payment.
Is My Child Too Young for Services?
No child is “too young” for support. The first five years of life represent a unique window of rapid brain development and learning. When questions arise, thoughtful early guidance can be both reassuring and impactful.
Early intervention is not about rushing to conclusions — it is about understanding your child’s strengths, supporting differences, and providing tools that foster confidence and growth from the very beginning.
